"Möllegården kultur" in Åkarp
Charlotte Weibull´s Collection is now located at Möllegården kultur in Åkarp. Möllegården kultur dates back to the 17th century and houses the Weibull Room, exhibition, shop and café.
Previously the Charlotte Weibull Folklore Centre museum, exhibitions, costume making and doll making were all located on the farm. Charlotte’s collection of old Scanian costumes and fabrics, as well as her dolls and nativity scenes, remain at Möllegården. They comprise, together with all the information about the Scanian costumes documented in the Weibull archives, an invaluable resource to the exhibition.
The museum at Möllegården Kultur houses an exhibition of treasures from the antique collection of costumes, costume silver and tapestries.
At Christmas Charlotte Weibull's collection of nativity scenes (Christmas crèches/cribs) are on display, and at Easter, the collection of exquisitely decorated Easter eggs from around the world.
